Jean started baking at a young age with her mother in the kitchen, which then grew into a passion down the road. Jean started Jean's Little Sweet Shop in 2008 in Pasadena, TX. Jean's Little Sweet Shop took off fast and also became a popular name. In 2009 Jean's Little Sweet Shop received an award in the Pasadena Citizen for "Best Bakery in Pasadena and Surrounding Areas". As her customer base grew bigger, she was ready to move on to a bigger space. Her hope is to bring great JOY and happiness through the art of baking to Pearland and the surrounding communities.

Josh is the crazy voice that you hear often. He is the man with the master plan! Because of his passion and belief in the business, we were able to be successful. He brightens the room with his energy and wants to bring a smile to everyone's face that walks through the door. He is the sound of this place, so if you ever need a music suggestion feel free to ask him.

Growing up my grandmother, Mama Cata, would make the best homemade corn tortillas. She would take a few simple ingredients and mix them together. Then she'd bring out her old tortilla maker and pressed out her tortillas. There's nothing better than a hot fresh tortilla straight off the comal with some Mexican cheese folded into it! I was amazed at how those few ingredients, along with her magic, created something so delicious. I knew then that cooking was in my veins.
I fell in love with BBQ way back in the day, when I was dating my future lovely and beautiful wife (I could definitely not leave that part out). Her father made the best finger licking good ole backyard BBQ pork ribs. I made it my mission to learn how to BBQ like that man. That was over 25 years ago, thank you Gary Don!
I'm grateful of my craft from experiences throughout the years with family, friends and co-workers who have the same passion for cooking as I do. I love to see people experience my cooking.
